Canadian “fashion” model Jayde Nicole has been named the 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year by fabulously dirty old man Hugh Hefner. (Can one be considered a fashion model when your major modeling claim to fame involves no clothes at all?)

Wearing what appears to be a slutty Halloween costume of Strawberry Shortcake’s friend Plum Puddin’ (original 80’s version, natch) the poor man’s Jennifer Tilly posed in front of her brand new Cadillac CTS at the Playboy mansion during a lunch thrown in her honor. Jayde will also enjoy $100,00 prize money and an 11-page nude spread in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

On the Playboy website, Jayde lists her turn-ons as “Intelligence, honesty, politeness, hopeless romantics and someone who is really into music. And nice eyes help,” and her turn-offs as “Liars, rude people, arrogance, people who are fake, bad hygiene and anyone who is mean to animals.”
