Diane Farr’s Numb3r is up
Psst — word from our spies is that Diane Farr, who plays FBI Agent Megan Reeves, is down to her last 5 episodes on the CBS crime drama, Numb3rs (aka Numbers). It’s true — she won’t be back for season 5. But it’s not an al qaeda plot — at least not in reality. Reports say that Diane Farr chose not to renew her contract for the next season, although no reason was made public.
But when you look at Ms Farr’s work history, you can see that her run as Agent Reeves was the longest of her career — 59 episodes as the show’s only female lead — compared to 22 episodes on Like Family (as Maddie Hudson), 19 episodes on Rescue Me (as Laura Miles), 19 episodes on The Job (as Jan Fendrich) — and, our personal favorite, 11 episodes on Roswell (as Amy DeLuca).
Where the 38-year-old actress will pop up next on TV is unknown, though she does have one low-budget project in the works, a movie called “The Third Nail” due out sometime this year. Most likely, she will take some personal time to be with her husband and baby — both of whom joined her family during her Numb3rs run.
