Though the girl’s certainly not above screwing with the public just for kicks, Paris Hilton showed up yesterday at a press conference in NYC wearing what looks like an engagement ring. As one would expect of an heiress, we’re talking rocks, not a rock.

Here’s how her left hand looked yesterday as she was introducing her new line of hair extensions, her latest little business partnership — this one with Sally Beauty Supply.
