After opening the movie last week in Australia, last night Jodie Foster attended the US premiere of her latest project, “Nim’s Island,” at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Abigail Breslin plays the title character — a girl who lives on an island and imagines it to be a magical place. When her dad — played by Gerard Butler — disappears on that same island, Nim teams up with her favorite adventure book author (Jodie Foster as Alexandra) to find him.

Tennis stud Andy Roddick, 25, is now officially a taken man! According to sources, Roddick proposed to girlfriend Brooklyn Decker last Tuesday, March 25.

A statement was posted this morning on his official website, andyroddick.com, revealing to fans, “The couple wanted to tell their family and close friends first but good news travels fast.”

Andy Roddick and his fiance, Sport Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, 20, met in 2007 and have been dating for the past year. The pair first met after Roddick had his sports agent track down the model’s phone number.

Due to the busy travel schedules of both Andy and Brooklyn, they have not yet set a wedding date and plan to enjoy their engagement. Congrats to the happy ( and gorgeous!) couple!

As David Beckham continues his desire to take over America, the latest Hollywood Beckham sighting proves he is well in his way.

Beckham took in a Lakers game and like many a celebrity has before him, being seen at the Staples Center on Lakers’ game day is the place to be seen. Without much fanfare, David Beckham took his seat to watch the hometown ballers take on the Washington Wizards in an overtime victory. (Wife Victoria Beckham — aka Posh Spice — was nowhere to be seen.)

Either he’s trying to fit in, or he truly believes it — but witnessing him singing “I Love L.A.” with the Los Angeles faithful was music to my ears.

Does David Beckham “Love” L.A? Definitely!

J Lo and Marc Anthony left little Max and Emme home for a few hours so they could attend the premiere of the new Rolling Stones documentary movie, Shine a Light, at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York.

And we’d be lyin’ if we said Jennifer Lopez had never looked better (and, well… Marc always looks like that). Mama looked like all she wanted was a hot bath and a long nap:

It looks like this is one celeb couple who is very hands-on with their babies, including multiple middle-of-the night feedings.

The summer movie season is still over a month away and the big film muscles of the season are already flexing! Paramount Pictures sent SheKnows a few stills from their high-expectation films from the hotter months.

First up is Mike Myers return to the big screen and he’s bringing Jessica Alba along for the ride! “The Guru” is the story of a love doctor (Myers) who tries to work his magic to help Alba. “The Guru” is the latest character from the mind that brought us Austin Powers.

Next up…Ben Stiller, Robert Downey, Jr and Jack Black go to war in the comedy “Tropic Thunder.”

…and what would summer be without a mind-blowing animated feature. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you “Monsters versus Aliens.”

Daryl Hannah shot to fame when she was just 24, in the 1984 movie “Splash,” where she played a mermaid alongside regular-guy Tom Hanks:
